When installed on a clean win2012 r2 instance, the cloud initiation service fails to run. When executing the command manually on the command line I get the following error:

pkg_resources.ContextualVersionConflict: (pbr 0.10.0 (c:\program files (x86)\cloudbase solutions\cloudbase-init\python27\lib\site-packages), Requirement.parse('pbr(2.0,>=0.11'), set(['stevedor']))

Any help resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Victor,

Can you please copy the content of cloudbase-init.log in paste.openstack.org and paste a link here?

Thanks

It never launches and thus never creates a log. I just see the stacktrace on the command line when I try to launch it manually. Here is the entire trace and cloudbase-init.conf: http://paste.openstack.org/show/281941/

found the issue, a Python dependency broke the build and somehow sneaked through the tests

That's good to hear. Is there a previous version, an estimated time for a fix, or a manual work-around I can implement to get this running in the near-term?

An updated version is under test now. I'm going to write an update as soon as the tests are done. At a first glance the issue seems fixed, you can already download it from the standard url in case you'd like to try it.

Tests passed, all good.
