Hi

I created a Nano server image for KVM using the offline tools and this guide: https://cloudbase.it/nano-server-on-k...

After uploading the image and launching an instance it fails on: "Inaccessible Boot Device"

I got the same problem when trying to create a windows2016 image using Cloudbase tools, and it seems like the tools somehow fails to inject the correct disk drivers?

I got the windows 2016 to run using virt-manager and installing manually, but I would rather use Cloudbase tools for nano server.

So my question is, are the disk drivers not injected correly or am I missing something?

Never mind, this was MTU problem, I rebooted the host with problem and forgot to set MTU high enough.

Do you mean the instance log or something inside windows?

Hi

If I set a dns-server on my subnet for example 8.8.8.8 the init (metadata) will be very slow 1-2 hours. If I remove the dns-server from the subnet it's fast.

Any idea what that could be?

Hi

If I set a dns server for example 8.8.8.8 on my neutron subnet the cloud-init for windows 2012 takes forever to complete 1~hour. If I remove it it very quick and completes correct.

Any ides what that could be?
