Hello,

A Windows 2012 R2 host does not support this flag: "-cpu kvm64 ".

You can set in the nova.conf, "host-passthrough" to use the host CPU model exactly or "host-model" to make sure it is compatible.

The problem is the required CPU flags for Windows 2012 R2. As stated here, "Win 8.1 and 2012R2 require the CX16 (CMPXCHG16B) CPU feature, which is not present on Conroe, kvm64, and Opteron_G1."

Thanks, Adrian
