Hello, and thank you for your inquiry.

Yes, Coriolis supports both Cloud Migration and Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS)* operation modes with OpenStack as a source and Azure as a destination.

* For DRaaS mode, the source OpenStack must have Cinder-backup configured to use Swift as the storage backend. Currently, Coriolis supports any RefStack-compliant OpenStack installation which features the following API versions for its core services:

  • Keystone: v2 or v3
  • Glance: v1 or v2
  • Nova: v2.X
  • Neutron: v2.0
  • Cinder: v2
  • Swift (only used when in DRaaS mode): v1

For Azure as destination, Coriolis leverages the new Azure Resource Manager (ARM) APIs. Migrating using the old Azure Service Management (ASM) APIs is not supported.

Hope this helped, and please let us know if you have any further inquiries.
