Hello

i am not able to log in any more to my cloud base win server 2012 R instance launched on openstack cloud. it has been six months since i launched it. is this behavior expected regarding licensing issue or is it something else ?

Hello,

This behavior is not expected, and if the password expired, you should be able to reset it from the VM console.

In an OpenStack cloud, you should be able to rescue an instance (start the VM using a rescue image, with the former root disk attached to it).
And then you can check what happened to the VM and can even reset the password using this "feature": https://4sysops.com/archives/forgot-t...
