I have to provide images of Windows Server 2016 with MSSQL Standard, but the database inside MSSQL must have the same host name, this is set in the MSSQL installation.

I use a script that completes the MSSQL installation after the first instance initialization.

With this, I have a problem, if the client sets the administrator password once the instance finishes the first settings, the instance will be restarted, canceling the installation of MSSQL.

If the client waits 5 minutes to set the administrator password, the MSSQL installation will complete successfully.

Could I explain? thank you for your attention

Hello,

Can you give more details on your workflow?

It is not clear how you installed the MSSQL.

On another note, we have an OpenStack Heat example on how to deploy MSSQL using cloudbase-init as an instance init service: https://github.com/openstack/heat-tem...
