2016-10-29 01:07:39 +0200 | asked a question | openvswitch for real network adapter consider the scenario of having ovs on a machine running in the cloud, take for example AWS. I succeded in having it running with ubuntu and ovs 2.5.1 having a L2 network among 2 machines in a VPC on aws, linked to my lan network where I have other two ubuntu host and several vm running on them. So I have my L2 network spanned from my premises to AWS and on prem i use KVM and Hyper-V as well with ovs. Now it would be nice also to have a version of OVS that could run directly on windows server without virtual switch as you know you cannot have hyper-v on AWS (or other cloud). Do you think it is feasible? Marco. m.cusinato@reply.com |
