How to make setpassword run once

I want to let windows vm generate random password only once, instead of default "per instance". only linux I know it is [setpassword, once]. How to config it on windows? same method?

Hello,

Can you give more details on what is your use case? As we need to take into consideration the snapshotting and instance rescue. For the moment, the password generation is executed only once per instance.

I need to backup a Windows volume and launch new instance based on it(because the host of original vm hit disaster). If it execute per instance, a random password will generate again. Which make it impossible to login.
