Static Network Config with Config-Drive

Hi @all,

i try to set a static network config via ConfigDrive and i can't get it to work. Basically, the metadata.json is parsed from ConfigDrive, Hostname, User etc... is working. Trying networkdata.json seem to be ignored. Tyring networks {} directly in meta_data.json also.

Log says: Executing NetworkConfigPlugin with loaded classes and nothing more.

How do i set as static config on Windows using config drive?

Hello,

You need to use the beta installer for cloudbase-init. The stable installer does not have the feature.
